We know this kind of stuff can get pretty heavy, but we want you to read this, so we’ll do our best to keep it easy to read.

BOXTAB Plan

We know how long 2-year contracts are, and we think you deserve to have some options. Our BoxTab plan comes in 6-month, 1-year, and 2-year contract terms, with Unlimited Canada-wide Calling and Messaging, Unlimited International Messaging, and 2GB of Data—all for $75/month. Each month, while you are using our BoxTab plan, your plan pays off the remaining device balance. Please monitor your data usage as the overage data charge is $5 for each additional 100MB.

Plan/Service Changes

We know unexpected things may come up that are outside of your control, so you are free to terminate the contract at any time by contacting our call centre. If you have your number transferred to another service provider, we will treat that as your decision to terminate the contract. By terminating the contract you agree to pay the remaining balance on your account to the date we stop providing the Services, including for all Services that have been provided and for any Device Balance left unpaid.

Device Balance is the cost to terminate your plan BEFORE the end of your contract term. Device Balance is based on the discount you received for your device when you first activated your plan and decreases every month by a set amount over the length of your contract term. The longer you stay with us, the more you save. So at the end of your contract term the Device Balance is $0.

Us Leaving You

We really hope we won’t ever have to do this, but we do reserve the right to terminate your contract to use our Services or block your access to our Services if we determine that you have breached any of our Terms of Use, including not paying your balance on time. Should the contract be terminated because you fail to keep our terms and conditions, we will process your payment including any service charges and remaining device balance on the payment information you provided.

Payment

We don’t believe in hidden fees or charges and you can easily keep track of all your bills online. Charges will proceed from the time you activate with us until the end of your contract, unless you add an additonal feature, contract or device to your account. Our default payment due date is on the 25th of each month; if we don’t receive a payment by that time you will be charged interest at a rate of 5% per month.

Warranty

New equipment and devices are covered by a one-year manufacturer’s limited warranty from the date of purchase. This does NOT cover incidents of accidental damage; including hardware damages. If any damage or loss results from your use, you agree that we are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly.
