Plan changes can be made at any time and will take effect on the 2nd of the following month. You can request a plan change in a few different ways:

  • Send your request to info@gophonebox.com. Please include your PhoneBox phone number and use the email you gave us when you activate.
  • Call our call center toll free and make the request over the phone1-855-886-0505.
  • Come into one of our stores and make the request in Person.

Please note that some plan changes may require a change in phone number and SIM Card. Examples of these are when you wish to go from a plan with data to a plan without data, or if you want to use a plan from a different provider. PhoneBox uses both Rogers and Telus to provide their wireless network so if you are switching from one to the other we may have to change your phone number and SIM Card.

PhoneBox allows you to the option to have Add-ons/"SideKicks" with your plan for a little extra added on to your monthly bill. These SideKicks include Nation-wide calling, Unlimited Local Calling, Unlimited International Texts to USA Roaming add-ons. You can even combo multiple add-ons for a overall reduced price.

You can switch your add-on/SideKick at any time by using one of the following methods:

PhoneBox offers Free Bonuses for some of our previous plans. They Include Free International Calling, Unlimited Evenings & Weekends, Free incoming Calls and Extra Data. It is even possible to have multiple Bonuses but the second one is not free and usually costs an extra $5. There are some bonuses that have to stand alone like Free International Calling.

PhoneBox offers Vacation suspension to all our clients contractually obligated client's under these conditions:

  • Vacation suspension available for $20/month for maximum of 3 months during a 2 year period for clients who are under contract with us.
  • Clients who are under contract, will have their contract extended for the duration of their suspension period.
  • Suspension can be only requested for whole months/billing periods, not individual days or weeks.
  • Client's who suspend their accounts can keep their number as long as they do not violate the above terms.
